Christie´s sold this print called "Dovima with elephants" in 719,000 euros!!!! Its from 1955 and it´s a really spectacular photo, feauturing a Christian Dior gown. All of the 65 works from Richard Avedon were sold at the auction.
Oh Gosh!!!! the pic is truly amazing...but the really beautiful thing is the dress and the perfect choice of it for this pic. In fact, the dress is so beautiful in this black&White pic because it is also black&white. Love everything, great post!!
